Each month you will submit, at least one independent work about your experience with the Spanish language and/or the Hispanic culture.
You will look for something in Spanish and write half a page about what you understood, as well as new words that you learned. Suggestions include the following:
1) listening to 105.3 FM;
2) watching a program in Spanish;
3) changing the language on one of your favorite movies to Spanish;
4) finding a label or a sign in Spanish;
5) changing the checkout language in the store cashier to Spanish;
6) finding an article in Spanish;
7) playing a game from my website; and
8) visiting a cultural event or restaurant where Spanish is spoken.
These will be on-going assignments until the end of the school year (May). Your journal of independent learning will be due at the end of each month and should be submitted online in one document at the end of the month. Always use Google Classroom to share your documents with me.
